The Big Bull Mr. Rakesh Jhunjunwala took his last Breath yesterday in Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital at 6.45 am. He Suffered an Cardiac Arrest and was immedieately Rushed to the Hospital. He was Declared Dead on arrival by the Hospital Authorities.
He was Discharged few weeks ago from the same Hospital after being treated for Kindey related Issues, he recently had teamed up with Ex-Jet airways CEO Vinay Dube and former IndiGo Head Aditya Ghosh to launch AKASA Air which started last week, During the time of the Lunch Mr. Jhunjunwala was seen on WheelChair.
Rakesh Jhunjunwala had investments in more than 36+ Companies. Titan, Star Health were some of his largest Holdings. he was also the Chairman of the Hungama Media and Aptech. He also had his privately owned Stock Trading Firm Rare Enterprises, the name of the Firm Derived from the first two letters of his and his wife's (Rekha) name. His trading journey started with 5000 rupees in 1985 when the Bombay Stock Exchange's Benchmark was 150 while today it is near 59400.
Rakesh Jhunjhunwala even produced movies, he Produced Sridevi's Comeback Movie English Vinglish (2012), Shamitabh (2015), Ki&Ka (2016). The Prime Minister Of India Mr. Narendra Modi Condoled the Demise of Mr. Jhunjhunwala by stating " The Legendary Investor leaves behind an indelible Contribution to the financial World".
